THC Staffing Group (2015-Current) Co-founded boutique recruitment firm to help source talented, diverse groups of candidates for cannabis businesses.

 

4Front Advisors (2014-Current) Successfully support prospective dispensary and cultivation businesses through state-managed competitive application processes in numerous states and help ensure they are operating most efficiently while maintaining compliance with state and local regulations.

 

Vicente Sederberg, LLC (2012-2013) Directed Massachusetts office of national medical marijuana law firm. Provided business, licensing, tax, and regulatory consulting. Primary purpose of legal work was to help the new Massachusetts industry meet the needs of patients through development of, and strict compliance with, sensible state laws.

 

Amendment 64 Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol (2012) Helped legalize marijuana for the first time during 2012 election. Led the creation of professional coalitions, including academic endorsements from hundreds of professors and law enforcement endorsements from dozens of cops, judges, prosecutors and judges. Managed bureau of professional campaign spokespeople.

 

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (2009-2012) Ran LEAP’s global speakers bureau including recruiting, training, booking speaking engagements, developing testimony, and collecting and implementing feedback. Directed law enforcement involvement in local and state drug policy campaigns throughout the United States for 2012 election season. Improved diversity of speakers bureau by tripling number of female speakers and doubling number of people of color.

 

Deloitte Tax LLP (2008-2009) Conducted tax law research for large and complex multistate clients as part of a team of lawyers and accountants. Analyzed and identified tax opportunities and assisted in preparing tax compliance and reviewing tax provisions.
